Nutrition Counseling
Patients who are at high-risk for nutrition-related diseases receive inpatient nutrition counseling. Additionally, special dietary needs such
as prenatal nutrition is addressed to promote better outcomes to populations at risk of nutrition related problems. We count with an
excellent Bilingual Nutritionist; who can address any concerns regarding your nutrition and weight gain during your prenatal care.

Psychology Counseling
Our facility counts with a Psychologist/Counseling for all our prenatal mommies in need. She also give a class on parenting and Self
esteem. She is here for any concerns including domestic violence, shelter placement, teen pregnancy counseling, drug abuse
counseling and referrals, etc.

Social Worker and WIC Services on site
This program is designed to increase the enrollment of qualifying patients into the above coverage programs. Our Application Assistors
provide information and help with enrollment applications.

Family PACT Program
Is a government program that provides clinical services for family planning and reproductive health at no cost to eligible California
residents. Family PACT offers birth control methods, morning after pills, urine pregnancy test, STI testing and treatment, annual exams,
and Hepatitis B immunization. All Family PACT information is CONFIDENTIAL.

Prenatal Care
Our office offers prenatal care from the first time you find out the great news till you are 40 weeks of pregnancy right before delivering, Our
OB/Gyn Nurse Practitioner, Sonia Y. Tovar, will be with you every step of the way, we will help you to apply for medical and WIC which
are services that will help you throughout your pregnancy, we offer prenatal classes, a psychologist and Nutritionist on site. Sonia Y.
Tovar, is very good in keep in touch with patients and answering any concerns or doubts. You can contact our medical provider 24 hours
7days a week via her cell.

DMV, Employment and Sport Physical
We can provide a throughout physical exam depending the needs of your visit, and fill out the paperwork need it.

Infertility
We offer an infertility work out, ultra-sounds and counseling for couples looking to become a family, and basic treatment to be successful.

Prenatal Classes
4D Ultra-Sound
Thanks to our experienced educator, Maria Tovar, we offer many
classes from early fetal development to Lamaze classes,
breastfeeding and preparation for normal or Cesarean deliveries. We
also have a Nutritionist and Psychologist for all our pregnant
mommies.
Something new and excited! For our mommies who join us at
our prenatal classes, Clinica Salud y Familia is offering a free
4D ultrasound of your baby’s face as our gratitude for your trust
and motivation to increase your knowledge during the prenatal
care.
Comprehensive Prenatal Services Program (CPSP)
CPSP delivers a wide range of health related services to
pregnant and postpartum women. Patients receive obstetric
care services; nutrition, health education, psychosocial case
management services; and financial entitlement assistance to
address their full spectrum of needs. Additionally, classes such
as maintaining a healthy pregnancy, infant care, and childbirth
preparation are provided to clients. A Child Development
Facilitator visits newly delivered baby and mother in the
hospital, and brings infant development toys and resources to
help parents optimize their infants’ development from the very
beginning.
Vaccines

Little Samantha is getting her 2 month-vaccines. Thanks to our VFC
program, which provides free vaccinations to all children up the age  
19. This programs also included the new vaccines against HPV
(Human Papilloma Virus), Gardasil, first vaccine developed to prevent
cervical cancer, precancerous genital lesions, and genital warts due
to HPV.
